This 2.03″ marble was handmade and signed by artist James Alloway.
A multiple-cane filigrana, this work of art is stunning. Filigrana is in itself a very difficult technique which requires precision and patience and superlative focus. Each cane must be handmade before twisting and layering into the sphere itself. Add more canes, add more challenge. Each twist has multiple canes of pastels, all over a fluted core of yellow.
