YUMMY! I have many of these very early ground faceted marbles to list, and they are without a doubt the nicest ones I have seen in over 25 years of collecting. This is a really stunning example of an open ribbon core, ground pontil marble. it has 5 colors. the neat thing is the outer bands are backed with white, and the inner ones are backed with yellow. that’s wonderful all on it’s own, BUT this also has a bubble center twisting almost pole to pole. Measures 21/32″. Mint 9.5 or better. wet surface. incredibly beautiful marble, and one of the earlier made German handmades.
